Located conveniently off the highway, La Quinta proved to be a mixed bag for my corporate retreat. the hotel offered free Wi-Fi, making remote work a breeze, but the 24-hour reception wasn't as helpful as expected. On the positive side, the fitness center provided a great way to unwind after meetings, and the outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing perk for leisure time. The business amenities promised a private meeting space with essential equipment for presentations, a boon for our team of 10. However, the reality fell short with a faulty projector and limited bottled water availability. While the flat-screen TV came in handy for presentations, the lack of complimentary water was a noticeable downside. On the accommodation front, the room's air conditioning provided a comfortable work environment, though the no-smoking policy was overly stringent. Overall, La Quinta's business-friendly offerings like free parking and wheelchair access make it a decent choice for corporate travelers, but improvements in service quality would elevate the experience.
